The Old Midleton Distillery in County Cork is where Jameson Irish Whiskey has been produced since 1975, when Irish Distillers consolidated production from several Dublin distilleries to this purpose-built facility. The site also contains the original 1825 distillery buildings, including the world's largest pot still (with a capacity of 143,873 litres) and a watermill that powered the old complex. The experience covers both the historical buildings and a tour of the modern production facility.

Irish Distillers also produces Redbreast, Green Spot, Yellow Spot, Powers and Midleton Very Rare at this site — the full range of premium Irish whiskeys from the Pernod Ricard portfolio. The guided experience is consequently more comprehensive than the Jameson Bow St. tour in Dublin, which focuses on the Jameson brand story.
